One rivalry that remained for the Pleasantville Trojans when they switched to the West Central Activities Conference (WCAC) was Interstate-35, who made the switch with the Trojans.

Pleasantville topped the Roadrunners 9-7 June 4 at home.

Cael Berglund earned the pitching win with 1.2 innings of relief of starter Jake DeJoode, a freshman, who went 4.1 innings.

Pleasantville led 5-0 before I-35 rallied to force a 7-7 tie entering the bottom of the fifth. That’s when the Trojans sealed the win with two more runs.

Cale Berglund and Quintin Berglund each had two hits for the Trojans to lead the 9-hit attack. C. Berglund drove in three runs while Austin McMillan had one hit, a double that scored two.
