Twin Cedars literally crushed four teams in the Bluegrass Conference last week in softball.
The Sabers knocked off Diagonal 14-0 on the road, then beat Murray 4-0 at home followed by a 13-1 victory over Moulton-Udell and a 15-0 triumph over Lamoni on the road.
Grace Bailey tossed a 2-hitter in three-innings against Diagonal.
Ali Mockenhaupt led the 10-hit attack with three hits and she drove in four runs. Rylee Dunkin and Jetta Sterner also had two RBI.
In the Murray win a three-run third by TC was the difference.
Bailey twirled a four-hit gem in the seven-inning affair.
TC was held in check to only five hits, but they made them count. Brooke Roby had one hit, but drove in two runs.
Against the M-U Saints the Sabers rode the two-hit pitching performance of Ali Mockenhaupt for the victory.
Rylee Dunkin and Brooke Roby each had two hits for the Sabers.
In the 15-0 shellacking of Lamoni the Sabers scored nine runs in the second and six in the third for another early night.
Bailey and Mockenhaupt combined on a 3-inning no-hitter for TC. Bailey worked two innings and fanned three while Mockenhaupt pitched the third.
Rylee Dunkin had three of the 11 TC hits in the game.
All of the wins propelled the Sabers to a mark of 12-1 overall.
