Pleasantville stands at 12-5 overall on the volleyball court after dropping a pair of matches to Van Meter and Woodward-Granger at home last week.

The Trojans fell to the Van Meter Bulldogs October 1 25-17, 25-10, 25-17.

On Senior Night the Trojans fell to the Woodward-Granger Hawks 25-23, 25-15, 25-10.

In the match against the Bulldogs the Trojans had 15 kills from Sam Entinger and then had a big drop off to Amber McKinney and Emilee Smith each with two.

Adi Adreon had 16 assists. Dig leaders were Bre Benge with 13, McKinney six and Lauren Cook with five.

Pleasantville had two ace serves each from Adreon and Noa Sample.

Against Woodward-Granger it was much of the same for the Trojans. Entinger had 16 kills and 13 digs. The hitting power after Entinger showed McKinney with three kills and Adreon with two.

Adreon had 19 assists and two blocks.

McKinney was the dig leader with 1, Bre Benge posted 11 digs and Cook added eight.

Benge was 16-of-17 serving with two aces.

The Trojans are coached by Joel Allman.
