Vroegh signs to shoot

WATERLOO–Coledon Vroegh has signed a letter of intent to join the RedTail Sports Shooting team at Hawkeye Community College for the 2019-2020 year.

Vroegh is a senior at Knoxville High School, where he is competing in his final season with the Knoxville Shooting Team.

His performance this season has included a perfect run of targets at the Newton Invitational, and he was part of the gold medal varsity squad at the Pella Invitational Triangular.

Vroegh is also active in 4-H and plans to enroll in the Agricultural Business Management program at Hawkeye.

Coledon was joined at the signing by his mother Amy Vroegh, grandparents Lester and Denise Vroegh, his high school shooting coaches and Coach Troy Emley from the RedHawks Shooting Team.
