Knoxville hosted the Knoxville Panther Wrestling Invitational Saturday.

Centerville came away with the team championship with 161.5 points followed by Knoxville in second at 152.5.

The S.E. Polk JV team was third with 146.5 points followed by Notre Dame, Burlington at 109, Nevada 105.5, Fairfield 82 and Moravia with 64 points.

It has been a hectic early season pace for Coach Doug Hatch’s KHS squad.

None of it has faced KHS 120-pounder Luke Spaur, who picked up his third straight tournament championship in a span of one week.

Also winning a title Saturday at hoe was Ian Crossett with the 170-pound weight class neatly tucked away.

Claiming runner-up spots for Knoxville Saturday were Marco Alejo (113), JJ Beaver (138), Koby Gordon (145), Nash Linsley (160) and Gavin Montalvo (170).
